Kurt Rockmore

Kurt Rockmore opened for Mike Stud on September 27, 2013 at Irving Plaza in New York City.  It was my first time seeing him perform and I absolutely loved his performance. He knew how to keep his audience entertained. His show was upbeat and fun, and everyone sang along to the songs. His song No Shame was a huge hit. Kurt was really interactive with the audience and gave a shout out to a couple of girls who have been to his other shows. And it was a girl's 21st birthday, and Kurt had her come on stage and dance. That is obviously a birthday she will never forget!

After the show he came out and was talking to the fans, taking pictures and giving out autographs. He was really cool to talk to. I cannot wait to see what else is in store for him and where life takes him. He loves what he does and has a great attitude about what he does. Kurt keeps it real and is enjoying the ride. I cannot wait to see him perform with Huey Mack at Highline Ballroom!

Mike Stud Concert

On September 27 2013, Mike Stud started his Relief Tour at Irving Plaza in New York City. The concert was absolutely amazing. Mike Stud is a down to Earth artist who understands his audience and knows how to connect with them. He made his concert personal by asking his fans what songs they want to hear. He told stories on why he wrote certain songs. Mike had everyone on his team get involved with his show and you could see and feel how much this means to him.

Opening up the night with Athletic D, the energy was high and you could feel the enthusiasm through the entire place. He brought out two of his closer friends to come out and sing with him. One of them being Huey Mack. Huey and Mike make a great team and did a great performance. Closing the night with crowd surfing just showed more of how Mike likes to connect and cares about his fans. I loved the experience of being able to see Mike perform. He did a great show and I wish I could go back to the night again.

Meeting him was also an amazing experience. He was so down to Earth, and was such a sweetheart. Mike is a great guy and I cannot wait to see where life takes him. Being with him from the start of this journey of music he has grown so much. Not just his fan base but even his music has become more personal which gives us his fans a sneak peek into his real world. It also gives us the chance to see that he is human and just like the rest of us. His music relates to us, which I think makes him so successful. I cannot wait until I can meet him again. The show was absolutely amazing and I love watching him grow as an artist. I cannot wait to see what the future has in store.
